VDB STEEL CONSTRUCTION, a proud Level 1 B-BBEE Company , is a 2nd generation family owned company with more than 12 years experiences in the steel engineering trade.  The company was founded in 1997 and by using our expertise we built up a loyal client base with some big names in the trade from construction companies to renovators, etc. Andre Van den Berg has taken over the family business adding a fresh new face to the company. He fulfills his place as the owner overseeing business operations with his partner and wife, Madelein van den Berg as Financial Director. With their combined knowledge, experience and ideas they make a dynamic duo.

Through the years the company has become more specialized in different materials but still keep a steady pulse on latest trends and styles in order to accommodate to every individual’s needs and specifications. With this in mind we take each project as of utmost importance and every step of manufacturing is taken in detail. Having our own equipped factory and transport, we analyze and quality check our products personally for each project to be completed successfully. We specialize in commercial, residential, retail and government construction through the whole of the Western Cape, this leaving us with an admirable level 1 B-BBEE Rating. Our manufacturing projects range from steel structures (design & supply), balustrades, handrails, security gates, burglar bars and a range of trans rail products including specialized designs, equipping us to do renovations on existing structures as well as being part of the building of new ones.
